Abrasive Recovery & Recycling Equipment

Recovered abrasive in many cases can be cleaned (when dry) and reused. The purpose of a recycling system is to remove fines and debris from the abrasive and leave you with good clean abrasive minimising dust and maximising productivity. In many cases GMA Garnet can be recycled up to 4 times. Recycling systems can be installed in field blasting applications or existing blast sheds.

Cost effective bucket elevator systems (pictured right without dust collector) can be installed to any existing blast shed. These units are typically mounted just outside the room with the hopper inside the room. Hopper is either at ground level allowing abrasive to be swept into the hopper or at a height that enables the operator to comfortably shovel the abrasive in to the hopper. Fines and debris are collected by the dust collector and clean abrasive is returned to the blast pot or contained for use at a later date.

High Output machines like the unit pictured are suited to large field projects or large blast yards. These units are capable of recycling large amounts of abrasive in a short time and they are also easy to move around from site to site.

The Vacuload series (pictured) of machines allow for fast efficient clean up of spent abrasive from enclosed areas such as inside tanks or an encapsulated area such as a bridge.
